Summer is coming.
Just the sound of summer seems to make me nauseous. I am not a fan of the hot weather, cloudless days, and summer vacation. The thought of spending a day at the beach or an amusement park upsets me. I would rather stay indoors instead of going to the backyard.
(My parents are upset by this, as they say that I’m too pale and I need to enjoy being outdoors. They are the kind of people who love to go on nature walks and hikes. I am always dragged on these hikes, and instead of being impressed by nature, I get cuts and bruises and sunburned.)
This year, I have to go to summer camp, where they’re not too big on kids who like to stay indoors all day. That means outdoor activities in hot weather.
And it’s just my luck.
