Cherry Bomb 2010 (parody of The Runaways Cherry Bomb) – FAWM Song

Shara: What? You mean to tell me that you guys aren’t allowed to just stay at home and hang out with your families? Or at least clean your rooms?

Mara: Uh, nope.

Shara: And why not?

Stuart: Because back in 2002, the city decided that we kids were spending way too much time watching TV and not playing outside, so they put an end to Saturday morning cartoons and forced our families to hire people to clean our rooms so we have to go away from our families during the day.

Pearl: No families allowed.

Irene: I know. Tragic, isn’t it?

Shara: Well, I can’t help but find that unacceptable. No teenager is allowed to be with their families anymore? That sucks!

(music turns on)

Can’t go to school, can’t stay at home, is there no place for a teen to roam? You look at me like I’m the clueless girl next door, but I’m the girl you’ve been waiting for!

Hello daddy, hello mom! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB! Hello world, I’m the bad girl! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB!

Life is sad if you don’t do your chores, yet they want you to get a score. They took away your right to choose; come on, guys, we’ve got nothing left to lose!

Hello daddy, hello mom! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB! Look out, Harrison Creek, here I come! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB!!

(brief instrumental solo)

Hello daddy, hello mom! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB! hello world, I’m the bad girl! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB!

Now is the time to break free, it’s time to make them see that we’re so done with this town, now we have no choice but to shut it down!

Hello daddy, hello mom! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB! Look out, Harrison Creek, here I come! I’m your…CHERRY BOMB!!

CHERRY BOMB!

CHERRY BOMB!

CHERRY BOMB!

CHERRY BOMB!

CHERRY BOMB!

Ride Of Dreams – FAWM

They say that I’m a fool to think that I have the right to live. For them they may be right, but to me, that’s a lie. They don’t care that my mother put me on this earth and they don’t care that she loved me since the day of my birth. But they are going to care when I take everything they think they love away from them.

And as for me, I’m running away, I’m taking the next train out of this town. I’m going to a place where I can be free to dream…

I’m riding on the ride of dreams and I’m not getting off that train, not as long as they’re willing to bring me down. I’m riding on the ride of dreams and I’m heading towards my destiny, which isn’t anywhere on this earth.

You who mock me and make me cry, you who hurt me everyday, I pray that one day, death will find you and never let you go. You will kick and you will scream, you will make all kinds of threats, but all of that isn’t going to bring me back to you.

I’m riding on the ride of dreams and I’m not getting off that train, not as long as they’re willing to bring me down. I’m riding on the ride of dreams and I’m heading towards my destiny, which isn’t anywhere on this earth.

FAWM song: Classroom Blitz (parody of The Ballroom Blitz by The Sweet)

Note: This song is not particularly a happy song, as it describes a school shooting.

[spoken] You wouldn’t believe the day that I had, the day that I’ll always remember. It all began with a bang and it ended with a bloody mess. Just sit down and I’ll tell you a story that you won’t soon forget. It was once a normal day until it became…a classroom blitz.

[singing] It was nothing more than just another normal day / I didn’t feel like going to school, ain’t got nothing to say / my only friend couldn’t be here, which is very sad / I think that he’s wasting his time dealing with his brother’s silly problems / a girl was sitting next to me with a look of fear on her face / she kept saying that someone was going to kill us all / people around us kept telling her to shut up / but I knew that she was telling the truth, something sinister was in the air…

Oh yeah, it was nerve-racking, / not to mention insane / the teacher had stopped teaching, / when a shadow fell on the door…

And then some boy in the back yelled, “We’re under attack!” and it turned into a classroom blitz / And the girl next to me said, “You better run, because it’s a classroom blitz…” / Classroom blitz / Classroom blitz / Classroom blitz / Classroom blitz…

Oh when the shots rang out, all hell broke loose / people everywhere were screaming and hitting the floor / the girl who warned us just sat there, saying, “See, I told you so.” / I’m on my knees, praying to God to please, please let me live / who was this shadow, why does he hate us so / what had we done to him to get the treatment that we’re getting?

Oh yeah, it was dangerous, / not to mention monstrous / even the teachers were running, / when the shadow fell on the school

And then some boy in the back yelled, “We’re under attack!” and it turned into a classroom blitz / And the girl next to me said, “You better run, because it’s a classroom blitz…” / Classroom blitz / Classroom blitz / Classroom blitz / Classroom blitz…

Well, there was chaos everywhere, everyone was running for their lives. / You thought this was a disaster movie the way things were going. / I could only hope that I could escape from place alive. / I just wish that I never heard the classroom blitz…

Blitz
Blitz
Blitz
Blitz

And then some boy in the back yelled, “We’re under attack!” and it turned into a classroom blitz / And the girl next to me said, “You better run, because it’s a classroom blitz…”

And then some boy in the back yelled, “We’re under attack!” and it turned into a classroom blitz / And the girl next to me said, “You better run, because it’s a classroom blitz…”

Classroom blitz (It’s a classroom blitz) / Classroom blitz (It’s a classroom blitz) / Classroom blitz (It’s a classroom blitz) / Classroom blitz (Yeah, it’s a classroom blitz)…

In a time where girls were forbidden to rock, four friends formed a rock band and used their music to expose schoolyard bullies and other villains

While the band became popular, it didn’t help the girls, though; at the turn of the new millennium, the band folded.
